Hargood Close has been praised by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) for its skilful design to accommodate the needs of vulnerable people. Writing on the HCA website following the 2013 Housing Design Awards, Executive Director and Champion for Vulnerable and Older People's Housing Colin Molton described how Hargood Close provides its residents with quality accommodation, dignity and privacy - a long way from the institutional feel normally associated with emergency accommodation. Colin Molton suggests the design should help change how we think when commissioning emergency accommodation for homeless people, and notes it feels much more like a home to those reliant on emergency accommodation. We're very proud of our Housing Design Award, and enjoyed this year's ceremony at Central St. Martin's.
