Scottish Government, Designing Places Student Competition 2017

Stephen Proctor and Andrew Matthews were invited guest tutors alongside Ian Alexander, (JM Architects) and Rowena Scott, (Anderson Bell Christie) for the Designing Places Student Competition held at The Lighthouse in Glasgow.

Competing groups of Architecture, Planning and Urban Design students from across Scotland were invited to present masterplan proposals for a new neighbourhood extension to Tweedbank - a village in the Scottish Borders. The one day workshop was led by Susie Stirling, Head of Planning and Housing at the Scottish Government. Ian Gilzean, Chief Architect at the Scottish Government chaired the judging panel.
