Mosaic Place receives planning permission

Mosaic Place receives planning permission

We are very pleased to have received planning permission for Mosaic Place in Purley. The landmark development for Thornsett and Purley Baptist Church will provide 220 affordable new homes alongside communal facilities that will benefit all.

Set across two sites, the scheme includes an elegant tower on the site of Purley Baptist Church, containing homes and new church facilities. The tracery design of the tower is inspired by the early twentieth century buildings of Purley. An apartment block with a tranquil courtyard garden is located in nearby Banstead Road.

The planning inspector commented: “It is rare in planning to have the opportunity to make a decision that would bring so much benefit to so many people - to the local community at large. This wonderful opportunity for so much good to be done should be seized rather than shunned”.
