Hargood Close, our supported housing scheme in Colchester, has been featured as a building study in The Architects' Journal. The article acknowledges our efforts to avoid an institutional environment in designing temporary housing for homeless people, and describes how we have addressed a complex brief on a low budget through high quality design. In particular it praises the "beautiful" use of perforated brickwork and even suggests that the staircases, storage blocks and landscaped courtyards have an "enchanting, magical quality".
