Abode at Great Kneighton has been featured on the cover of a new RIBA report showcasing high quality design in large scale housing developments across the UK. Following on from the recent report 'Ten characteristics of Places where People want to Live' the document provides examples of innovative built schemes which address the housing need and improve the local environment.
Built on the former Clay Farm site, Abode at Great Kneighton is a key part of a major housing and mixed-use development consisting of 40% affordable housing in South Cambridge. The design consists of a hierarchy of spaces and housing types to suit the transition from urban to rural edge. The scheme received 10 design awards including an RIBA award in 2015.
