Qualifications:
BArch (Hons), MArch, ARB, MSA

Paola joined the practice in 2019 and has since worked on a variety of projects ranging from masterplanning in Ireland to an individual family home in Hertfordshire. In 2020 she became part of the team designing new community and sports facilities at James Riley Point - the first phase of the Carpenters Estate masterplan. The building will provide community facilities and a new home for the pioneering Carpenters and Dockland Community Centre at ground level with reconfigured residential accommodation above. The design of James Riley Point involved close engagement with residents with Paola taking part in, and leading, regular resident workshops. James Riley Point achieved planning in May 2022 and was highly commended by the LLDC Planning Committee.

Paola completed her master’s degree at the University of Dundee in 2019 and her Part 3 at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in 2022.

In addition to her project responsibilities, she mentors students during their placements at Proctor & Matthews. Paola has an interest in working with existing buildings, local communities and mentoring young designers which is reflected in the projects that she works on.
